Youth allowance
The aim is to encourage young people to participate in the labor market in the productive activity, and through financial support to provide employment for a longer period of time and improve their economic position.
MBËSHTETJE DERI NË PUNËSIM
Youth Guarantee
The Youth Guarantee enables young people up to 29 years of age, who are neither employed, nor in education or training (NEET) to receive a suitable job offer, continue their education or to be involved in any of the active employment programmes and measures, in a period of 4 months after their registration as unemployed persons in the Employment Service Agency.
EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
The Employment Service Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia provides the following services:
CARE ECONOMY
The programme provides for inclusion of unemployed persons for the purpose of acquisition of knowledge, skills and competencies to provide care services in the community and an opportunity for work engagement and employment as formal service providers in the care economy, in accordance with the needs of the citizens at local level. This programme shall also support job creation by establishing new business entities (service providers) or supporting existing enterprises and non-governmental organizations.
PROGRAMME FOR RECRUITMENT FOR MUNICIPAL COMMUNITY WORK AND PUBLIC WORKS
The programme provides social inclusion of hard-to-employ persons in order to help them acquire certain skills and integrate them gradually in the labour market through the implementation of municipal infrastructure and environment protection projects at local level.
INTERNSHIP
Purpose of the measure: Acquisition of practical work knowledge and skills required to perform the work tasks at specific jobs
TRAINING
The trainings are aimed at improving the skills and qualifications of the unemployed persons so as to facilitate their labour market integration.
SUPPORT FOR JOB CREATION
The support to job creation would have an impact on boosting employment of the unemployed persons in micro, small and medium enterprises, social enterprises pursuing primarily social objectives and reinvesting their profit in the realization of those objectives through the business operations, or investing in the community and civil (not-for-profit) organizations pursuing economic activities classified under the National Classification of Economic Activities to realize the objectives laid down in their Articles of Association.
