Permanent allowance
To provide for the financial security of carers and parents who provide care for their child with disability.

- Eligibility criteria
Carer who has provided care for another person in his family at least fifteen years upon completion of 62 years of age for women and 64 years of age for men, who is unemployed and is not using a pension benefit on any grounds.
Parent who has provided care for a child with disability until the child completed 26 years of age, without using the services of extrafamilial social care, unemployed and not using a pension benefit, following the completion of 62 years of age for women and 64 years of age for men. The parental responsibility for the child should not be removed.
- Amount of the benefit
The permanent allowance for a carer/parent amounts to MKD 8,000 (eight thousand) per month, adjusted for the increase of the costs of living in the preceding year, as published by the State Statistical Office in January for the current year.

- Valid personal ID card or passport presented for inspection
- Birth certificate of the carer
- Certificate issued by the competent Social Work Centre about the period of provision of care for a person or a child without parents and parental care.
- Certificate from the Employment Service Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia that the carer has the status of an unemployed person
- Certificate from the Pension and Disability Fund of North Macedonia that the carer, upon completing 62 years of age for women, i.e. 64 years of age for men, is not exercising the right to pension benefit.
The Social Work Centre shall collect the documents referred to in items 2, 3, 4 and 5 ex officio, by electronic data exchange with the relevant institutions or in writing, following the receipt of a written consent of the applicant for the use of his or her personal dat in the procedure for exercising the right to permanent allowance for a carer
