Municipal community work

Purpose of the measure

Increasing the employability through work engagement of unemployed persons, aimed at providing social and healthcare services at local level

Target group

Unemployed persons registered with ESARNM

Amount of financial support

• MKD 9.000 per engaged person per month (with included personal income tax and insurance against disability and bodily injury cause by occupational injuries and illnesses) for a period of 6 to 9 months, for an engagement of 20 work hours per week.
• MKD 9.000 per unemployed persons included in training for duration of 3 months.

Unemployed persons who do not hold appropriate recognized certificates for the acquired skills/competencies as providers of the required services in the sphere of social protection shall mandatorily be included in training provided by a verified training provider.

The total period on involvement of the unemployed persons in the programme shall be 9 months, including the training and the work engagement.

• Unemployed persons registered with ESARNM
• End users of social and healthcare services
• Municipalities and the City of Skopje

Manner of application

For municipalities:

• Public call, Application supported by memorandum(-a) of cooperation with NGOs, local institutions and other relevant partners

For unemployed persons:

• Public call at local level, Notification, search in the register of unemployed persons based on profiling and IEP and developed activation plan, Application, and Statement of consent

For end users:

• Public call, Application and Statement of consent
