PROGRAMME FOR RECRUITMENT FOR MUNICIPAL COMMUNITY WORK AND PUBLIC WORKS

The programme provides social inclusion of hard-to-employ persons in order to help them acquire certain skills and integrate them gradually in the labour market through the implementation of municipal infrastructure and environment protection projects at local level.

Inclusion of low skilled unemployed persons in infrastructure and environment protection projects at local level

Target group

Unemployed persons registered with ESARNM

Amount of financial support

MKD 400 per engaged person per day with included personal income tax and insurance against disability and bodily injury cause by occupational injuries and illnesses. The work engagement could be realized in one annual cycle with duration of 22 working days.

Beneficiaries

Unemployed persons registered with ESARNM with low qualifications, with priority assigned to persons who have resolved their status and obtained personal identification documents

Local self-government units and the City of Skopje

Manner of application

For municipalities:

  • Public call and Application with elaboration of the public works programme

For unemployed persons:

  • Notification and search in ESARNM’s register of unemployed persons, Statement of consent
  • Selected programme for performance of public works of infrastructure and environment protection character at local level.

For unemployed persons:

  • For the duration of the public works, the candidate shall be obliged: to attend regularly and perform the assigned work tasks; if the candidate is prevented from performing the work, to notify the employer within a period of 24 hours about the reason for his or her absence and to furnish a document justifying such absence; to uphold the discipline and the prescribed order and to protect the property, means of work and to handle the assigned materials with due diligence; if the candidate shall cause damage to the public works contractor for the duration of the performance of the public works, due to improper behaviour or gross negligence, he or she shall be oblige to compensate such damage.
